Pro-Life Eucharistic Adoration 9-Day Novena 2025
Let us take some time to pray for the unborn, their mothers and fathers, and pray for state and federal laws that harm those most vulnerable.
Twelve parishes across the diocese will be hosting the novena Jan. 13-Jan. 21.

Jan 22 - Following the Novena
January 22 marks the anniversary of the lamentable 1973 U.S. Supreme Court Decision, Roe v. Wade. While Roe was overturned in 2022, Proposition One was passed in California, embedding the practice of unrestricted access to abortion in our State Constitution. Recognizing the sin of legalized abortion still afflicting the people of California, in the Diocese of Sacramento, January 22 is designated as a Diocesan Day of Reparation.
All are asked to observe this Day of Reparation through fasting, prayer, penance and works of mercy.
